Susan Rohac is the Managing Partner of the Climate Tech Fund at BDC Capital. In this role, Susan leads a pan-Canadian team of investment professionals and is responsible for a new $400-million fund which focuses on investing in Canada’s most promising climate tech companies. To date, the team has invested in over 50 Canadian cleantech companies across a wide spectrum of sectors including; CCUS, hydrogen, energy storage/battery, mobility, agri/food and advanced materials.

With 30 years’ experience in the financial services, banking and venture capital sectors, Susan provides support and guidance to a team of dedicated professionals serving the climate tech sector in Canada. An involved leader, she strives to ensure that BDC provides not only capital but genuine value in terms of insight, counsel and ongoing business guidance. Susan holds honour degrees in both Science and Finance and an executive MBA.
