Kelly is Chief Executive Officer for Entomo Farms, one of North America’s largest insect farms raising crickets as a sustainable protein source for both people and pets. Based on Norwood Ontario, Entomo Farms is backed with investment from Maple Leaf Foods and supplies food companies around the world with cricket powder ingredients for smoothies, snacks, pet treats, and more. The company has grown to over 60,000 square feet of indoor farm space and dehydrates the crickets in their own processing plant. Earlier this year the company launched a high protein cheese puff snack made with cricket powder under the brand name “Actually Foods.” Kelly brings 25 years of finance and operations experience with 13 years of work in sustainability at Ameresco, Zerofootprint, and Entomo Farms. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Tufts University and an MBA from Stanford.
