Dianne Saxe, Ph.D. in Law and in Environmental Studies (Hon.), is one of Canada’s most respected environmental and energy lawyers, with 45+ years’ expertise. She was the last independent, non-partisan Environmental Commissioner of Ontario, reporting to the Legislature on environment, energy and climate. Ms. Saxe now heads the law firm SaxeFacts, focusing on the climate crisis, and hosts the Green Economy Heroes podcast. She is also a Senior Fellow at Massey College, a Clean50 honouree, former Deputy Leader of the Ontario Green Party, and a Toronto City councillor.
